Indiana Juvenile Justice Task Force, Inc. $65,000 Support for the second year of a three-year pilot project to provide 30 male juvenile offenders with job training and life, communication and leadership skills.
Indiana University Foundation on behalf of the IU School of Law - Bloomington $60,000 Support for a second year to develop a partnership between the Law School and Conservation Law Center to assist community organizations with environmental education and training, as well as to attract more students to environmental law.
Indianapolis Public Schools Education Foundation, Inc. $50,000 Support for a second year to expand College Summit in IPS high schools to increase college enrollments.
Martin University, Inc. $500,000 Support over three years to develop a Technology Academy with a state-of-the-art NASA lab to teach elementary and high school students about science, engineering, mathematics and aerospace in a structured after school setting.
* Mount Zion Day Care Center, Inc. $75,000 Support for facility improvements that include the addition of four new classrooms and renovation of existing classrooms.
Riley Children's Foundation $75,000 Support for a new art therapy program for patients at Riley Children's Hospital who show signs of depression and anxiety about their illness or hospital experience.
Ruth Lilly Health Education Center $50,000 Support for a third year of the Healthy Youth Indiana program to develop, deliver and evaluate fitness and nutrition literacy curriculum for 9,000 central Indiana youth ages 9 through 11.
School on Wheels $50,000 Support for a second year to provide educational advocacy programs to 200 homeless parents and to provide 400 homeless students with access to high school mentoring.
The Orchard School Foundation $100,000 Support over two years for the Indiana Partnership for Young Writers program to provide professional development in reading and writing for kindergarten through eighth-grade teachers in Indianapolis schools.
* The Salvation Army Social Service Center $50,000 Support to provide services that protect, educate and empower 1,800 central Indiana women and their children fleeing domestic violence and/or homelessness.
The Villages of Indiana, Inc. $50,000 Support to transition the Dads, Inc. program into the Villages in order to reach more fathers.
* The Wellness Community - Central Indiana, Inc. $10,000 Support for the Kids/Parent Connect Cancer Program for youth, ages 5 through 18, whose parent or primary caregiver has cancer.
United Way of Central Indiana $100,000 Support over two years for the Early Readers Club to provide three age-appropriate books quarterly to 2,500 Marion County children age 6 and under.
United Way of Central Indiana $80,000 Support over two years for the Youth as Resources program that encourages youth groups to plan and implement service projects staffed by volunteers ages 6 through 18.
Use What You've Got Prison Ministry Keeping Families Connected, Inc. $25,000 Support for a second year to provide transportation services for 675 Marion County residents annually to visit family members in Indiana's prisons.
Volunteers of America of Indiana, Inc. $75,000 Support for the Healing Families Program that provides counseling and treatment services to 450 female ex-offenders and their children.
