As we mentioned
in our first electronic newsletter, the Trust is utilizing
the Internet as a communication tool and encouraging you to
use the same tool. Perhaps the most exciting news on this
front is that the Trust is now accepting preliminary proposal
applications online, thereby simplifying the process for those
seeking to communicate with the Trust and helping us to interact
with our "customers" in a more efficient manner.
We will, of course, continue to accept hard copy grant applications
sent via mail or hand delivery but encourage you to try out
this new process. Effective immediately, you can begin work
on your next preliminary application, which is due January
14, 2005.

As always, we welcome
your questions or ideas about this process or any other aspect
of the Trust's work.
